I'm writing to request an additional method to request time off. It used to be that when a staff requested time off, they specified start/end times. I'm proposing bringing that back as an additional option, not to replace the existing method of specifying the number of hours. See attached image.

It's not uncommon for staff to request to be off for only part of their scheduled shift (for example, to go to a medical appointment). Yes, staff currently can write comments but sometimes that is overlooked. They may just submit a request to have 1 hour off but forget to comment about when that 1 hour begins. This suggestion aims to reduce the amount of follow-up that managers have to do.

Taking this further, this option can make Pug even better and smarter. If there is a specified start/end time for approved time off, Pug can notify managers if they accidentally schedule a shift that overlaps with the approved time off. Again, one more smart feature that makes managers' jobs easier.
