Person Supported Published Hours Report

I am writing to request a report that Admins and Managers can generate. Please allow me to explain. We have some programs where our state contracts are billed on an hourly (instead of daily) basis. Services are provided to Persons Supported in 15-min increments. This is a common billing methodology across the country for some services. For example, Mickey Mouse's contract is for 250 hours of Supported Living services to be provided from June 2023 to May 2024 (12 months.)
The challenge for those Managers is to provide as much of that full contract as possible (250 hours in Mickey Mouse's case) in 12 months without going over. Chronic under-utilization of the full contract often leads to a reduction by the State (aka, Mickey's Supported Living contract is decreased and he gets screwed.) To provide the correct number of support hours, Managers have monthly/weekly targets to aim for. Pug has the ability to make this task SO MUCH easier for them because it can calculate the number of staff support hours that are scheduled for a given Person Supported.
So, the report that I'm requesting would have 3 search parameters:
- Start Date
- End Date
- Location(s) - allow the selection of multiple locations. Some Managers/Directors oversee multiple locations that operate like this.
The resulting report would look like my attached sample report. Because of the precise nature of this information, the report needs to show the published number of shift hours that have a staff associated with a Person Supported (aka, not "Open") and the total number of hours should be from the Start Date to the End Date (inclusive.) Total number of hours for a weekly range (for example, Sun to Sat) would not work because Managers often need to adjust schedules towards the end of the month. For example, if Mickey Mouse's contract ends on Friday, May 31, 2024, then I need to know exactly how many hours I'm scheduling staff to support Mickey up to and including May 31, 2024. His new contract begins on Sat, June 1, 2024.

Managers whose programs are billed on an hourly (instead of daily) basis regularly ask me when this report will become available for them.

Eddie Fung: We'll be working on PS schedules for the next release, this should fold into that

Yup. This makes sense and aligns with what we're talking about with PS schedules.
